Sopharma’s Tribestan is a plant-based product that contributes to increasing libido, stimulating the functions of the sexual system, increasing the strength and duration of erection. It also favorably affects lipid metabolism, has a hormone-balancing effect and, in women, relieves climacteric symptoms. Tribestan is used in the complex treatment of decreased libido, impotence (sexual weakness), infertility in men; with dyslipoproteinemia (disorders in lipid metabolism) to reduce total cholesterol and low-density lipoproteins; in women with climacteric and post-castration syndrome (condition after surgical removal of the ovaries) to alleviate pronounced neurovegetative and neuropsychic manifestations. The product is suitable for longer use because the effect is achieved gradually. Available in a pack of 60 tablets.
Composition in 1 tablet:
Dry extract of the plant lady’s teeth (Tributes terrestris herba extractum siccum ) 250 mg
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose; colloidal silica, anhydrous; povidone K25; crospovidone, magnesium stearate; talc Film coating: opadray brown.Dosage for reduced libido, impotence and infertility: For men with reduced libido, impotence and infertility: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Duration of treatment – at least 90 days. The course of treatment can be repeated until a satisfactory therapeutic effect is obtained.
In women with endocrine sterility: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, administered from the 1st to the 12th day of the menstrual cycle. This course can be repeated periodically until pregnancy.
Dyslipoproteinemia: 2 tablets 3 times a day. Duration of treatment – not less than 3 months.
Climacteric and post-castration syndrome in women: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day for 60-90 days. After improvement of the condition, gradually switch to a maintenance dose – 2 tablets per day for 1-2 years.
If you have taken more than the required dose of Tribestan
No cases of Tribestan overdose have been observed so far. In case of taking a larger amount of the product, consult a doctor. If necessary, gastric lavage is performed and symptomatic treatment is administered.
If you forget to take Tribestan
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Do not take Tribestan:
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients;
with severe cardiovascular or kidney disease; in prostate adenoma;
if you are under the age of 16;
Tribestan is not used during pregnancy or during breastfeeding.
Pay special attention when using Tribestan
In the treatment of climacteric women, the transition from a therapeutic to a maintenance dose should be gradual. After a sharp reduction or cessation of the effective dose, a secondary manifestation of the complex of climacteric symptoms is possible.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.
The simultaneous administration of Tribestan with medicinal products stimulating ovulation leads to a mutual strengthening of their effects.
Tribestan may increase the effects of diuretics (water-draining drugs) and antihypertensive drugs (used to treat high blood pressure).
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Before taking any medicine during pregnancy, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Tribestan should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If pregnancy is detected, the product should be discontinued.
Driving and using machines
It does not affect active attention and can be used by drivers and machine operators.

Like all medicines Tribestam can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur in predisposed patients.
May have an irritating effect on the gastric mucosa.
